Jim Pedersen
Graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1974. Worked in construction
until 1984. Graduated from Aviation Maintenance school as an A & P
aircraft mechanic in 1985. Received Inspection Authorization license from
FAA in 1990. Worked in industry until 1995. Self employed contractor in
Ft. Collins until August 2002, at which time he was employed by Union
Pacific Railroad. Jim is currently a conductor for the UP and is working
in the Denver Yards. Jim still keeps his aviation licenses current, but
will continue to work for UP. |
Marlene (Schultz) Pedersen
Graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1974. Married Jim in July 1975.
Went to work for King Soopers in 1975 and has been there since. She is currently
the service desk manager at the South College store in Ft. Collins. In 1995
Marlene helped Jim build their home on 5 acres, 3 miles east of the Budweiser
plant in Ft. Collins. Marlene enjoys flower gardening in the summer, and
has several gardens in their yard. |
Melanie Pedersen
Graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1996. Melanie
was in many performances as a dancer/singer during her years at school,
and won many awards. In 1998 Melanie moved to LA to pursue her career
as a songwriter/performer. She has written many songs and continues
to write and perform in various clubs in LA. She has recorded several
CDs.
As some of you may know--Melanie went through a divorce
two years ago--but thanks her family for their support, and for being
there when she was in need. She has since then moved on, and is proud
to announce her engagement to Andrew Tuin . . .also a Colorado native.
Andrew is from Paonia, Colorado--and now resides with Melanie in Los
Angeles. They have not yet set a date, but are very excited to share
their future together!

Laura Pedersen
Graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1999. Laura went to work for
King Soopers in 1998, and has been promoted to Head Clerk at the South College
store in Ft. Collins. Laura enjoys fishing with her Dad, boating and water
skiing. |

Derek Pedersen
Derek graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2005. Derek loves camping,
fishing, knee- boarding. He also flies remote control airplanes. He plays
the bass guitar and has formed a band. They meet a couple times a week and
write and play their own music. Recently just formed a second band called
Tanner-Dean. |
