Did you know "Family" can camp on the Picnic Grounds?

The Picnic Ground is available for "family" members to bring their Campers, RV's, Tents, etc. to set up camp there. While "Grandma's Cabin" is still a rental property, this area is open to all of us to enjoy. And there is NO CHARGE to camp here - it is free.

Some basic requirements for requesting and camping here:

1) You must be a family member.

2) Request a date through Greg at cohunter53@msn.com . He has a schedule you can check for availability. If you see it is open, send your request with dates and if open you will have the time reserved. This reservation system is essential to prevent multiple families unexpectedly showing up at the same time. Please don't request a time slot for more than continuous seven days.

3) Be respectful of our paying renters for the cabin. When you arrive and drive in, let them know you are family and will be camping there.

4) No open fires! Only propane or other gas stoves/BBQ's/Lanterns/etc. are allowed.

5) Before leaving, police the area for trash and leave the grounds cleaner than when you found it!

There are no utilities available so campers will have to be self contained as far as water, waste, electricity, etc. just as if you were camping in the toolies!
