Warren, Stan, Bill Waldo, and Harold started a construction company in Fort Collins called Pedersen Brothers Construction in 1951 which was successful through the years and ended with the retirement of Warren in 1991.

They started a subdivision on the west side of town called Mountain View where they built many small homes that sold in the price range of $5000.00 - $7500.00.

When they had built out the subdivision, they started another one called LinMar Acres on Overland Trail. These were more upscale custom homes selling in the $25,000 - $130,000 price range. Besides building custom homes, they also built commercial properties, many that are still in business such as Washington's Bar And Grille.

All of the subcontractors, suppliers, and anyone else that ever came to one of their job sites could tell you many funny stories about the Bros. ornery side. Things like nailing the crawl space shut - the plumber was still inside, nailing a kid's shoe to the floor - the kid was still in it, drywall mud being flung like snowballs, an electrician's lunch box nailed to the top of telephone pole, and on and on. There was hardly a serious moment on the site.
